“Leah Smith finally has everything she has ever wanted. Except she doesn’t. Her marriage feels more like a loan than a lifelong commitment, and the image she has worked so hard to build is fraying before her eyes. With a new role and a past full of secrets, Leah must decide how far she is willing to go to keep what she has stolen.”

Dirty Red earned a special place in my heart. I immediately connected to Leah. I felt her pain, I know what she went through, I understand where she’s getting all those anger, manipulations and hatred that she’s been feeling.

When you love someone, you would want to give it your all, you would do everything to satisfy your cravings of wanting to have someone to love you the same way you love them. This sometimes goes out of control. You sometimes do things that aren’t right without even noticing it because you’ve been blinded by your strong hold to win someone’s heart. That is Leah. Determined. Hard-headed. Strong.

I hated her on The Opportunist but I started loving her upon knowing her background and real intentions.

Tarryn really has a way of making us love flaws through her character. You would look deeper into their souls and hearts and learn that we are all good in our own ways but some choose to be villains instead, to protect themselves.

Loved this book!!! 5 stars!
