My Thoughts Ribbon

This is my first Clara Stone book but i’ve been following the author for some time now. The story follows Ace and Heath who are childhood friends and always looks for each other. As the story progresses, their relationship does too.

“Don’t let love pass you by because you’re too scared to take a chance. For once, throw away all logic..& let your heart lead you”

I personally like the story. It was cute, fast-paced and the writing is so good that I devoured this in one sitting. My one issue is that the characters didn’t get pass through base 1 and it seems to them to be a big issue. It was tackled for a number of times. There is also no obvious plot twists in the story that would make you go “wow”. I would categorized this under those common storylines we’ve been reading about friends who turned lovers nevertheless, it was still good. Clara Stone’s way of writing is not one you would not finish.

I enjoyed this story though it kind of lacked more complexity but the sweet and swoon-worthy scenes compensated for it.

“I know she’s my forever kinda of love, because she’s the light in my darkness, giving me the strength to never give up.”
